Abstract

The worldwide struggle against climate change and its effects is supported by green financing. The achievement of the sustainable goals of the United Nations depends on it. Given that green financing is seen as the future of banking and investing, it must be completely comprehended. The state-of-the-art trends in green financing research are examined in this study in the first mixed-methods bibliometric and qualitative analysis. More than 1000 linked papers were quantitatively analyzed using bibliometric analysis, which was confirmed using google scholar, web of science, and ScienceDirect. The study findings state that China is much ahead in the race to implement green finance in business operations, followed by the USA. This study sheds light on important green financing applications as they relate to certain research domains, as well as the methods for achieving green financing's potential advantages for advancing both research and development.
